Bula’bula Arts Aboriginal Corporation is based
in Ramingining, Central Arnhem Land. It
markets the work of local artists and provides
assistance with ceremonial and other cultural
obligations. Bula’bula Arts is renowned for
paintings on bark and on canvas, hollow logs
and fibre art such as baskets, mats and dilly-bags and
limited edition prints on paper. In 2007, Bula’bula Arts
revamped its screen-printing activities, producing lengths
of screen-printed fabric. Ramingining is situated about
30 kms from the coast and the region is home to more
than sixteen clans speaking fourteen different languages.
