Djilpin Culture Centre is owned and operated
by Djilpin Arts, an Aboriginal Corporation
based in the community of Beswick. It features
an excellent range of authentic art and
artefacts: didjeridus, carving, fibre art,
paintings on canvas and bark, limited edition
and fine prints. Djilpin Culture Centre also houses The
Blanasi Collection, a permanent exhibition developed by
elder David Blanasi featuring the finest of work in the
West Arnhem tradition. You can visit the Collection,
where there are also a large selection of artefacts and
fine prints available for purchase.
Opening hours: April to November - 10am to 4pm, Monday
to Friday. Weekends and Wet Season by appointment. No
permit is required for your visit. Beswick Community - from
Katherine: 51kms South on the Stuart Highway, then 56kms
up the Central Arnhem Road.
