Warlayirti Artists is located in Wirrimanu
community ( Balgo) on the edge of the Great
Sandy Desert, 300 kms south of Halls Creek.
Warlayirti Artists has become recognized as
one of Australia’s premier Aboriginal Art
Centres with an established national and
international reputation for acrylic paintings. The Culture
Centre complements and expands on the activities of the
Art Centre with a focus on photographic and video
documentation plus other programs as well as being an
outlet for locally produced baskets and cultural artifacts.
The Centre also showcases glass coolamons and panels.
The Art and Culture Centre is open 9am – 5pm Monday –
Friday. Weekends by appointment only.
